Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) is the foremost university in the field of agriculture and food in Tanzania. SUA has a good track record in food science and technology, as well as in agricultural economics and value chain analysis. Sokoine has an ongoing collaboration with Wagieningen University & Research (e.g. in food sciences) and with ILRI.
SUA co-supervises one PhD student and will use the research results of the LIQUID program in its education and training programs.
